Lagos, Nigeria – May 16, 2025 – Mr. Abiodun Ayorinde, CEO of Downtown Promotions and convener of the Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos (MBGLAGOS) pageant, on Tuesday May 13th, 2025, met with the Lagos State Commissioner of Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, to explore a strategic partnership aimed at empowering young women and youths in Lagos State.
During the meeting, Mr. Abiodun, accompanied by his team, outlined plans to collaborate with the Ministry on initiatives that will provide crucial soft and hard skills training. He detailed that the proposed programs would include training in key areas such as technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI), fashion designing, and ethical leadership.
The partnership seeks to leverage the MBGLAGOS pageant’s platform to identify and develop young talent, equipping them with the necessary tools to succeed in today’s dynamic world.
Both Hon. Ogunlende and Mr. Abiodun expressed strong enthusiasm for the potential collaboration and its capacity to drive positive change among Lagos State’s youth.
