In a spectacular evening of glamour, culture, and empowerment, 19-year-old Miss Alimosho, Adegunle Boluwatife, was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos 2024 at the grand finale of the prestigious beauty pageant. Held at the Terra Kulture on 14th September 2024, the event was an awe-inspiring celebration of Lagos’ finest young women, showcasing their intelligence, talent, and passion for making a difference.
The event kicked off with a vibrant red carpet, followed by an electrifying opening dance performance by the contestants. From there, the energy of the night only grew, with the ladies dazzling the audience in casual wear, traditional attire, and stunning evening gowns. Hosted by MC Shakara, the pageant brought together dignitaries, celebrities, and Lagos elites, creating an atmosphere of excitement and admiration.
As the night progressed, the judges faced tough decisions, but it was the contestant who represented Alimosho LGA who stole the show with her grace, confidence, and advocacy for women’s empowerment. Alongside her coveted title, she won an all-expense-paid trip, a Wellness Package by St François Medical Centre valued at 1 million naira, the honor of becoming the Face of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, and additional endorsement deals.
Other winners include the contestant representing Surulere LGA, Kudirat Sanbe, who was crowned MBGLAGOS Tourism; the contestant representing Agege LGA, Chidera Eze, awarded the title of MBGLAGOS Sustainability; and the contestant representing Apapa LGA, Sarah Obiekwe, who was named MBGLAGOS Enterprise. These incredible women will go on to champion causes that align with their respective titles.
In his remarks, Abiodun Ayorinde, convener of the Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos, expressed his gratitude to the sponsors, partners, and guests, stating, “This event is more than a beauty pageant; it is a platform to empower young women to embrace their full potential and become agents of positive change.
